Andrew Rule started his career on a country newspaper last century, and has worked on three metropolitan newspapers, a national magazine and in radio and television. He has written, co-written, edited and published many books, including the Underbelly true crime series and the Chopper series, which inspired the successful feature film. He wrote the best-selling biographies of businessman Kerry Stokes and of the world’s greatest racehorse, Winx. He is a columnist and feature writer with the Herald Sun, and hosts one of Australia’s longest-running true crime podcasts, Life & Crimes. He claims to be the only Australian Journalist of the Year to have ridden in a horse race.
