Queenscliffe Literary Festival is recruiting!

 

We’re looking for a Treasurer, Sponsorship Coordinator, and Volunteer Coordinator to join our experienced, hardworking, cheerful, and very fun QLF volunteer committee.

 

The Treasurer is responsible for the financial supervision and performance of the QLF organisation. The Treasurer is required to regularly report on the organisation‘s financial status to the committee to inform decision-making, mitigate financial risk, and ensure transparency for members. This person will work closely with the President and the Finance and Risk subcommittee. See Position Description here. 

 

The Sponsorship Coordinator is responsible for identifying, attracting, and managing financial and in-kind sponsorship for QLF’s main October festival and occasional pop-up events; communicating with sponsors and ensuring their needs are met; and maximising the visibility and brand engagement of sponsors. This person will work closely with the President and General Manager in particular. See PD here and please note that applications for this role have been extended to 28 April.

 

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a volunteers database; training, scheduling, and supporting volunteers for QLF’s main October festival and occasional pop-up events; and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both volunteers and festival attendees. QLF volunteers take on many tasks including but not limited to ticketing, ushering, venue set-up and bar work. The Volunteer Coordinator will draw up schedules, connect volunteers with trainers, provide guidance to volunteers, and implement volunteer acknowledgement for their contribution. This person will work closely with the President and the Operations subcommittee in particular. See PD here.
