Micro-fiction Competition

Micro-fiction is writing that punches above its weight. Hit the judges of the Queenscliffe Literary Festival Micro-Fiction Writing Prize with something profound, comic, enigmatic or newsworthy. The only rule is to keep it to 50 words!





  • Micro-fiction piece must be exactly 50 words, no more, no less.
  • Open to Victorian writers of any age.
  • Email your entry, as an attached Word or PDF document, to qlfmicrofictionprize@gmail.com by 30th April 2020.
  • Include your name, email address and postal address on your email.
