Col Moyle

Born in Zeehan Tasmania in 1949, Colin ‘Sketchy’ Moyle spent most of his adult life in the Australian Regular Army. After operational service in Vietnam, he passed selecting for the Australian SAS in 1971. He spent most of his military career with the SAS. Col has documented his life in a self-published autobiography, Indebted: From a Quaker schoolboy to an Australian SAS soldier. Col’s wife, Noeleen, died of breast cancer in 2005. They had two sons: Leigh, a veterinary surgeon, and Heath, a graphic designer. Col now lives in Point Lonsdale.
